Reminders: Audiobook & LTUE

This week has two main events.  First (and foremost) is a reminder about the audiobook for Sands coming out on Tuesday.  Tanya Eby is the narrator and I’m really excited to listen to it.  Yes, it may seem odd that I want to listen to someone else read my book, but I’m actually really excited for it.  It was a lot of fun to work with Tanya on the pronunciations for everything, so when you listen to it (I’m

assuming you will because, you know, why wouldn’t you want to?) rest assured that the names of places and people are being said correctly (as in, the way I meant them).  If you have an Audible account, go spend one of your credits on it.  You won’t regret it.

Second, the LTUE convention is this weekend (starting on Thursday).  It is down at the Provo Marriott and goes from Thursday through Saturday.  Kevin J Anderson and Shannon Hale are the two guests of honor and keynote speakers this time.  I will also be on several panels there.  My schedule is below, but can also be found on the LTUE website.

I will be there all three days.  Just look for the guy in the purple shirt (it will be a different one each day, don’t worry).  Come say hi.
